This is my magazine cover I created myself based off of a Sports Illustrated template. To get the template I had to measure all the dimensions for all the lines on the cover. I had to measure the text boxes and the border. When I got all the dimensions, I went to photo shop and used the ruler and grid tool to assist me on getting the dimensions accurately. I then decided what I wanted to have my magazine about and got the information that would be fitting for it. Then I used the template I created when I put all my information on photo shop.

Typography
This poster is for the Broadway Musical "Beauty and the Beast." When creating this poster I used the pen tool to create the title. It took majority of my time because it was a little time consuming creating my own letters. As for the other text I used a provided font on photoshop. For the background I took a picture from the internet and overlaid it with a gradient background to give it that look. I think the font fits the poster well, and would entice people to come to the Broadway Musical "Beauty and the Beast."

Business Stationary
This is my business card, letterhead and envelope from the company logo I created. I had to use a lot of layers to create the effects I wanted. I repeated a floral design and my logo to give it some repetition. I kept the colors similar so it looked the same. I used the same font for all of them so it'd look the same. I used the line and curve tool for majority of the time while creating my stationary. I think my business card, letterhead, and envelope all turned out pretty good for the logo I created.

Initial Logo
I chose this design because not only was it my favorite, but my classmates feedback agreed with me. In the real world, creating a logo for a business could be way more difficult. Sometimes it's not what you want, it's what the business wants as a whole. To create this logo, I had to take into consideration what I wanted to include and what would be best fitting for myself.

What is Graphic Design?
Graphic Design is used in many things whether you think so or not. Graphic Design is a way to show something in an original way and is usually creative. These designs are found in many places such as on the social media and a way to advertise. Businesses hire special people to create or design their very own graphics to help their business. Graphic design is important because it's used everywhere, it gives us a name to call all the "artwork" and designs that we create.
